Welcome to the Garden Club

The Garden Club has an average membership of 30 gardeners who regularly attend our meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month. We generally have eleven meetings during the year with guest speakers during the winter months in Granby Village Hall and visits to seasonally interesting gardens in the locality. We try to arrange a one day visit during the summer to a more nationally recognised property or gardens with details published in our annual programme. In December we have our Christmas Quiz at which we contribute towards the buffet meal. Due to the COVID restrictions, our meetings are currently held online.

The key event for the past 13 years has been the Home Produce Show, which took place in September2022.

Annual Membership due in October, is extremely good value for money at £12 and there is no additional charge for meetings with guest speakers. Guests are always welcome to the Village Hall meetings at a cost of £2 per head.

So, if you are not a member but enjoy gardening, why not come along to our next meeting, we look forward to seeing you.

Notes of the Annual Meeting

At the annual meeting held in the Village Hall, the programme for early 2022, the annual show and open gardens were discussed. Full details can be found here.
