Welcome to the Home Produce Show 2021

The 13th Annual Home Produce show will take place in the Village hall on Sunday 5th September 2021.

However the Children’s Sunflower Growing Competition will go ahead with photographic judging. Sian Hamson will be in contact with those who are growing Sunflowers to arrange submission of the details of the plants grown and the photographs.

So that the results of peoples efforts, despite being locked down, in preparation for the show can be displayed,  a gallery of photographs will be created of produce that people have grown or made this year

Please submit your photographs and a note of the Show Class the produce would have been entered in to John Rainbow at  rainbowj500@gmail.com. In order to give John time to create the gallery, your submission should be made from Wednesday 2nd to Friday 5th September.

Photographs submitted should be restricted to a maximum of 5 per person allowing you to self select your best items.

John will arrange the photograph gallery in 4 broad classes:
  • 'Open' for vegetables, fruit, and flowers: Classes 1 to 17
  • ‘Children's’ Classes 1 to 4
  • 'Baking' for cakes, jams and wines: Classes 18 to  27
  • ‘Photography’ Class 28
The gallery of photographs will be available to view on this page from 3pm on Sunday 6th September, in line with the viewing at our shows.

We are really sorry that this established event in the community calendar has, like so many other events, had to be cancelled. Maybe with gardening becoming a welcome release during the ongoing restrictions we can look forward to a increased participation in the 2021 Home Produce Show on Sunday 5th September 2021.
