Bin CollectionsPersonal waste (for example used tissues) and disposable cleaning cloths can be stored securely within disposable rubbish bags.
These bags should be placed into another bag, tied securely and kept separate from other waste within your own room. This should be put aside for at least 72 hours before being put in your usual external household waste bin (the grey wheeled bin). Other household waste can be disposed of as normal. |
Recycling CentresNote that Nottingham County Council introduced a booking system from 1 September 2020 for users of the Household Waste and Recycling Centre in West Bridgford. Further information about recycling centres can be found on the Nottinghamshire County Council website.

Stay Safe and be Aware of FraudWe're asking residents to 'take five' to stop fraud and ensure you do not fall victim to a fraudulent attack by phone, text, email or online during this outbreak. The County council has provided information on SCAMS and links to Action Fraud.
Remember to take five minutes to reflect and step back from the situation if a phone call, message or online exchange ever requests personal or financial information. Even if an individual says they are the bank or other trusted organisation, you still need to take the time to stop and think about what’s really going on. Guidance from the County Council on residents who need support from volunteers can be found here. |
